The Burnie Farmers Market is held the first and third Saturday of each month from 8am to 12noon at the rear of the Wivenhoe showgrounds.
The Burnie Farmers Market was the first community-run farmers' market established in Tasmania.
There are typically 50-60 stallholders, and alongside some of the region's best farm produce are: food and beverage stalls, hand-made baked goods and other crafts and hand-made products.
The Burnie Farmers Market is still the best place to buy fresh local produce, and chat with the producer or farmer.
The Burnie Farmers Market is owned by the Burnie City Council and managed by Angela Cannell.
The Burnie Farmers Market encourages stallholders with a variety and diverse range of goods to come along and join the great atmosphere of the market.
The Market can cater for 100 stallholders so we encourage the Burnie community to come along.
