Motor Homes
Local caravan parks at Cooee,
Somerset and Wynyard welcome visitors in motor-homes.
Burnie City Council has made provision for free camping (max. 5 nights) for fully self-contained vehicles, at Cooee Point.
Permits are required and available from the Makers’ Workshop information counter.
Drinking water is available at Cooee Point along with a dump station.
There is also an additional dump station at South Burnie, however NO drinking water.
Dogs are NOT permitted.
