Suzanne Hennessy has been a painter since 1990. Using inks, watercolour and acrylics on paper, her work has a liveliness that captures a moment in time. Suzanne likes to paint on location recording changes to the built and natural environment.
Suzanne has spent her life on Tasmania’s North West Coast. She is a prolific painter often starting another painting while the ink is drying on the first.
I love to paint the world around me, anything that is new or being pulled down. It’s my record of what is happening at the time. I like to report what I am seeing before it changes again.
