Susan is studying contemporary art at the University of Tasmania and she is mad about hats.
In 1990 Susan started making hats and has just never stopped.
Her current work has a strong military influence but she also draws inspiration from the plants in her Tasmanian country garden.
I love making hats and I love wearing hats. A hat says stop! I am here. So make a stand and wear a hat.
